Malcolm Mills joins NANLUX Americas as Director of Business Development & Technology

Los Angeles, CA – March 6, 2026 – NANLUX Americas has appointed industry veteran Malcolm Mills as Director of Business Development & Technology, further strengthening its position in high-end cinema lighting.
With more than 30 years of experience across on-set production, manufacturing, and executive leadership, Mills brings deep relationships with cinematographers and gaffers on both sides of the Atlantic. He began his career working on set at age 15 and later spent 12 years at Panavision in London and Los Angeles, supporting major feature and television productions.
Most recently President & CEO of Sumolight USA, Mills has been a strong advocate for image-based lighting (IBL) and large-scale LED systems, helping integrate advanced lighting technologies into modern studio workflows. Throughout his career, he has also contributed to the development and adoption of high-output HMI, tungsten, and LED systems widely used across major productions in North America and Europe.
